Savvy Butler

This page lists the cookies and other browser storage that Savvy Butler sets, what each one is for, and how long it lasts. It covers our own website and the signed-in application. You can change your analytics choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

1. Cookies we set

sb_internal	Strictly necessary	Marks a browser as belonging to the Savvy Butler team so our own visits are excluded from analytics. Only ever set deliberately by us.	365 days
sb_company_ctx	Strictly necessary	For cleaning-company users who belong to more than one company: remembers which company portal you are working in. Not set for other users.	30 days (HttpOnly)

Only the analytics cookie requires your consent. The others are strictly necessary: without them you cannot stay signed in, and we cannot remember the cookie choice you made.

2. If you decline analytics

Nothing is stored on your device for analytics. We keep only anonymous, cookieless counts, and visits cannot be linked across days. The site remains fully usable. We never store your IP address in either case.

3. Other browser storage

The signed-in application also uses your browser's local and session storage for convenience. These are not cookies, are never sent to our servers, and are not used for tracking or advertising.

Unsent work in progress — Cleaning and inspection drafts are kept on your device so a lost connection or a closed tab does not lose what you have entered.
Interface preferences — Small choices such as whether a helper panel is minimised, or whether you have already seen a one-off tip.
Setup progress markers — Remembers which one-time setup steps you have already completed, so they are not shown again.

4. Third-party services

Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc.) — Aggregate page-view measurement for our own site.
Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.) — Measures real-world page performance so we can find and fix slow pages.

We do not use advertising networks, cross-site tracking, or social media tracking pixels.

5. Managing cookies

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to change your analytics choice. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
