Cookies, analytics and marketing

Cookies on savvybutler.com fall into three categories. Essential cookies are always on. Analytics and Marketing are optional, are off until you switch them on, and are chosen separately. No analytics or marketing script is loaded before you choose.

• Essential: signing in, security, and sb_consent (12 months), which remembers your cookie choices.
• Analytics (only with your consent): a first-party system that we operate ourselves, plus page-performance measurement from our hosting provider. sb_vid (up to 13 months) is a random identifier that lets us tell returning visitors from new ones and understand which pages lead to a sign-up. It is removed when you switch Analytics off.
• Marketing (only with your consent): advertising and conversion-measurement tools such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag. We do not currently use any of them; if we add one it will run only for visitors who switched Marketing on.
• If you choose “Only essentials”, we record no visit data at all — not even anonymous counts.
• With Analytics on, we never store your IP address. We record the pages you view on our site, the referring website, campaign parameters, your device and browser type, and country/city as provided by our hosting provider. Raw analytics records are deleted after 13 months.
• You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.
